The Walking Dead is a critically acclaimed comic series by Robert Kirkman. It has given rise to multiple television adaptations, video games, merchandise, and board games.
The story starts with police officer Rick Grimes waking up from a coma and finding civilization has collapsed. He finds pockets of surviving humans struggling to fend off the risen bodies of the recently dead. Can Rick find his family? Or are they lost to the zombie horde roaming the streets and stalking anything with a pulse?
The Walking Dead is an ongoing comic series first published in 2003. There are currently 23 collected graphic novels in print, as well as deluxe collectors editions.

This landmark series written by Mark Miller is available as a collected graphic novel containing all issues of the Civil War comic series. The story has also been adapted for film in the up coming Captain America: Civil War set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After a 13 year publication run, it has been collected into 22 collected graphic novels, each following their own story arcs and connecting to the larger story of Fables. The story several spin off graphic novels as well as a popular mobile video game from Telltale Games.
